Greysha delivers a psychedelic and dream-like composition, binding her looming melodies and soulful lyrics into her music. Her imminent electric melodies resonate softly and depict a dark, passionate presence. Greysha captures love and being, want and waiting, depicting life as if it were a dream. Born in Norfolk, Greysha, personally known as Grace Keeling-Doncaster, moved to Shropshire, UK.
Throughout my childhood, I have always been influenced by music, whether that be through music lessons, my family’s musical history or purely just my admiration for the artists I loved. My mother can play a range of instruments, along with my uncle and grandmother also having a strong musical influence.
Greysha has always been inspired by people and emotions, along with her childhood and her being, always feeling the need to explore these attributes in her life whether that be through drawing, writing or music.
Artists such as Lana Del Rey really influenced me as a child- my mum would blast her ‘Born to Die’ album (especially the track ‘National Anthem’) in the car and I just remember thinking how cool the album was, how powerful it was.
At the current age of seventeen, Greysha is excited for her future as a musician.
I am now 17- I have found a motive within my music: to channel my thoughts, understand myself and to relate and empower people. I devote myself to my music, and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon. I hope you’ll be a part of this journey of mine.
